Super Saturday

I don't have anything spectacular or necessarily newsworthy to report, I am just sitting here watching Drew kick and coo on his play mat while Brenna is attempting to take a nap. She is definitely fighting naptime right now without her pacifier but at least she isn't screaming...progress is being made!! Scott had the kiddos this morning while I was working and he and Brenna always have "school" (aka he teaches her something he thinks she should know) She now knows that mommy is a pharmacist and daddy "takes people's money". How appropriate...and yet how true :)

The wailing...

Well, Brenna did much better at school today which is great. But we are trying to get rid of the pacifier and right now she is wailing like a banshee. I am trying very hard to be strong but this is not for the faint of heart. I realize this will not get any easier to get rid of the longer we wait but boy is the screaming a lot to take. She will be fine, of course, but I'm not sure about the rest of us ;(

Eeiry quiet...

Today marks day 2 of preschool for Brenna and the house is spooky quiet without her!! Drew is alseep at the moment so all I hear is the faint bump bump of the dryer. Very rarely are both of my children asleep at the same time during the day so this deafening quiet is a bit strange. But don't get me wrong, I am enjoying it at the same time. This will just take some getting used to but I'm not knocking the peace and quiet I am currently experiencing...even if it is short lived :)

1st Day of Preschool

Brenna started 2 year old preschool today. She had a bit of a rough day but I think once she gets the hang of it she will really enjoy being there. We've been really talking up "school" all week and I think it wasn't quite what she had in mind. But, she shall prevail and we will all be the better for it. I am posting a few pics of the big day :)

Well, I have finally succumbed to the "peer pressure" of creating a blog. I really hope to do well with updating and posting but we shall see... The two little ones at home will be the deciding factors as to the success or failure of this process :)
